Terms
The terms that apply when you shop with Fe Advaita.
01 — These terms
These terms govern your use of feadvaita.com and any order you place through it. By browsing the site or buying from us you accept them. We may revise them from time to time; the version published here at the moment you order is the one that applies to that order.
02 — Orders
An order is an offer to buy. It becomes a contract only when we send you a dispatch confirmation, not when you receive the order acknowledgement. We may decline an order if the piece has sold out, if we cannot verify the payment or delivery details, or if a price has been published in error.
Because we produce in small runs, a piece can sell out between your order and our confirmation. If that happens we will tell you within two working days and refund you in full.
03 — Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and include neither shipping nor any import duty. Payment is taken in full at the point of order. If a price is listed incorrectly we will contact you before dispatch and you may confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.
04 — Promotion codes
A promotion code applies to full-price pieces only unless we say otherwise, cannot be combined with another offer, and has no cash value. One code per order.
We may withdraw a code at any time, though never from an order already placed.
05 — Delivery
Delivery times are estimates rather than guarantees. Risk passes to you on delivery; ownership passes once we have received payment in full. Full detail is set out in our shipping policy.
06 — Returns and exchanges
You may return an unworn piece in its original condition, with tags attached, within thirty days of delivery. Made-to-order and altered pieces are excluded. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within ten working days of the return reaching us.
Nothing here affects your statutory rights.
07 — Descriptions and colour
We photograph every piece ourselves and describe it as accurately as we can. Natural materials vary, and screens render colour differently, so small differences between the photograph and the piece you receive are normal and are not a fault.
08 — Acceptable use
Browse, read and order as much as you like. Please do not scrape the site, resell our photography, or use automated tools to buy stock ahead of other customers. We may refuse or cancel an order where we see that happening.
09 — The newsletter
Signing up gets you new runs and restocks, and nothing else. Every message carries an unsubscribe link and we act on it the moment you use it. We do not sell your address. Our privacy page sets out what we do with it.
10 — Intellectual property
The Fe Advaita name, the wordmark, our photography and the text on this site belong to us. You may not reproduce them commercially without our written permission.
11 — Liability
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Beyond that our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
12 — Events outside our control
Where a mill, a courier or a customs office delays us, we will tell you as soon as we know and give you the choice of waiting or cancelling for a full refund. We are not liable for a delay we could not reasonably have avoided.
13 — Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the day you placed it, and the date at the foot of this page tells you when it last changed.
14 — Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New York courts.
