What we collect, why we collect it, and how to ask us to delete it.
01 — What we collect
When you order we collect your name, delivery and billing address, email address, telephone number and order history. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and never reach our servers.
When you browse we collect the pages you view, the device and browser you use, and an approximate location derived from your IP address.
02 — Why we collect it
To take and fulfil your order, to handle returns and enquiries, to prevent fraud, and to understand which pieces and pages people spend time with so we can make better ones. We send marketing email only if you have asked us to, and every message carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
03 — Our legal basis
We process order data because we need it to perform our contract with you. We keep financial records because tax law requires it. Analytics and marketing rest on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
04 — Cookies
Essential cookies keep your bag and your saved pieces between visits and cannot be turned off without breaking the site. Analytics cookies are optional and are only set if you accept them. You can clear either at any time from your browser settings.
05 — Who we share it with
Our payment processor, our delivery partners, our email provider and our analytics provider — each only with what they need to do their job. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.
06 — Where your data goes
Some of our providers sit outside your country. Where data crosses a border it moves under standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard, and only to processors contractually bound to act on our instructions.
07 — Marketing
We email you about new runs and restocks only if you have asked us to. Every message has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing does not stop transactional email about an order already placed, which we are obliged to send.
08 — Your rights
You may ask for a copy of the data we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@feadvaita.com and we will respond within thirty days. If you are unhappy with our response you may complain to your local data protection authority.
09 — How long we keep it
Order records are kept for seven years because tax law requires it. Marketing preferences are kept until you withdraw them. Analytics data is kept for twenty-six months and then deleted.
10 — Security
The site runs over TLS throughout. Access to customer data is limited to the people who need it and is reviewed regularly. No system is perfect; if a breach ever affects you we will tell you promptly and plainly.
11 — Children
The site is not aimed at anyone under sixteen and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will remove it.
12 — Complaints
Tell us first. We would far rather put something right than have you chase it. If we cannot resolve it between us, you have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live.
13 — Changes
If this policy changes materially we will say so on this page and, where the change affects you directly, by email.
14 — Contact
Data questions go to hello@feadvaita.com.
